Tourist Information Centre

  Please note – the Tourist Information Centre is situated by the main roundabout at Ollerton, where the A616, A614 and A6075 join. The access to the car park is approximately 50 yards from the roundabout on the A616 towards Sheffield and Worksop. Please call in and the staff will be happy to help advise you on where to visit in Sherwood.

Tourist information can also be found at libraries, Ollerton and Boughton Town Hall, Rufford Abbey Country Park, Sherwood Forest Visitor Centre and many other centres throughout the area.

24-hour cash machines

NatWest Bank, Lloyds TSB, Mills Newsagents and Ollerton Post Office, are all located on New Ollerton’s main shopping street (Forest Road) and have 24-hour cash machines. Tesco Superstore (off Forest Road) and McDonalds (Ollerton Roundabout) also have 24-hour facilities. The other nearest 24-hour cash machine is located on Sherwood Street in Warsop (NG20 0JP).

Libraries

Libraries are located in Bilsthorpe, Edwinstowe, Clipstone, Farnsfield, New Ollerton, Tuxford and Warsop. All have different opening times and days, so please telephone Nottinghamshire County Council on: 0115 977 4401. Ollerton’s libraries are fairly large and well-stocked:
